March Madness

We had another snow day yesterday. This, by far, has been the worst winter since we moved to Tennessee. It does look pretty but I'm over it now. I want to start seeing some greenery and get started on planting herbs and vegetables.

The farm is rocking and rolling and preparing for the spring chores. We have shearing coming up as all of the alpacas will soon be getting their yearly haircut. We have one girl scheduled for a spring birth and hopefully Sammie can come up with another female.

This weekend is the SEAA Alpaca Show in nearby Shelbyville. We don't have any entries in the show but we'll go to take a look. The weather is supposed to be in the 60° range and I say bring it on!
