Fierce Weather

We had our first major storm of the spring today. Tornadoes touched down all over middle Tennessee along with high winds, hail, lightning and heavy rains. We dodged a bullet with only one casualty to a cedar tree due to the 100 mile per hour winds that roared through. I managed to take a few photos before going into our safe place and I captured what appears to be the formation of a tornado to the north of us looking toward Tullahoma/Manchester.





Here's the top half of a cedar tree that got blown off.

And in the bottom photo is the field that got flooded in just a matter of minutes due to the heavy rains.

All of the animals retreated to the barn to seek refuge and they are all okay!
