Sad News

We had some sad news today. One of our girls, Aurora, who was due on September 18th, had a miscarriage today. The constant, sweltering 100+ degree heat in August was just too much on her fetus. So, today is a sad one for us as we were expecting good things from this cria. The mother is fine, she's grazing and that's a positive sign. We'll just have to try for a late October cria in 2008. There was nothing anyone could do, it was just nature taking its course.

We do have another mom expecting in October. Let's hope Ruth Hussey comes through next month and makes it a happy occasion.
